Ellerslie Community League, in Partnership with Kulshan Gill, recently presented “Stress and Mental Health in a Pandemic”; This informational seminar focused on mind/body, mental and emotional well being.

Kulshan is a Registered Herbalist & Holistic Health Practitioner in Edmonton and holds a Bachelor of Naturopathy degree from Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She shared about stress management, monitoring and caring for your mental health, seeking help/support and mindfulness from an educational perspective.

Connect Virtually with your Community

ECL is excited to host a virtual AGM on November 24, 2020 from 7-8pm. Hosting the AGM online is was a difficult decision, however with the current state of COVID-19 in our city and our province, it is the best option for keeping our community safe.

People love to learn – our programs director helps provide programs in our community to help grow our neighbours’ abilities! The sky is the limit on what you can do!

Neighbourhood Watch Director

A community who looks out for one another is a safe community – this is where the NHW Director comes in. If you want to help us keep each other safe, join us!

The secretary is the glue that holds the board together. They keep record of our meeting activities, send out agendas for upcoming meetings, and are the record keeper of all things. If you’ve got a knack for organization, this is a great spot for you!

Treasurer

If you like keeping people accountable for their spending habits, and creating budgets & sticking to them, this is the position for you! Help us keep our accounting in check and join our team!

President

At the helm of all organizations is a leader who helps steer the ship, but also supports the team to get the work done. The President is the face of the ECL, and interacts with community members on a regular basis. If you have a passion for leadership and community, this is for you!

Join us on Sunday, July 28 from 2-5pm for our second annual All About the Pace fun run! Tickets are $25 and all proceeds from the event go towards future infrastructure projects (such as a community rink).

The Next meeting of the Community Infrastructure Committee is scheduled for May 6 at 7:30pm in Grace Point Church. This committee’s primary goal is deciding on, and planning community infrastructure such as skating rinks, community halls, etc.

Want your child to learn useful safety strategies for at home and in our community? Then this course is for you! Tailored for ages 9-13, the Red Cross Stay Safe course is designed with real-world scenarios to help your child learn how to stay safe everyday.
