The Ellerslie Community League 2016 Annual General Meeting is taking place at Grace Point Church on Saturday, November 19, 2016.

Everyone who lives in our community is welcome and encouraged to join us.

We’re starting with a free catered meal at 5:30 p.m., followed by the AGM at 6:30 p.m. While the AGM is going on, we’ll be showing a supervised movie for the kids in another room. Once the AGM business has been taken care of, we’re hosting a community forum, where residents can share their ideas on how to make our community an even better place to live.

You don’t need a league membership to attend; however, you do need one to have a vote, and we need at least ten voting members there who aren’t part of the board in order to hold the meeting. If you’d like to purchase a membership ($25 for the whole family for the year), you can contact Christine Lim (memberships@ellersliecommunityleague.com), buy one at the meeting, or buy one online at http://www.efcl.org/membership.

On September 17, 2016, the Ellerslie Community League will be hosting our annual Community League Day event. We are excited to expand our event to include the many cultures that make our community such a vibrant and exciting place to live. We invite you to share your culture with your fellow neighbours! Showcase art, clothing, crafts, music, etc., that is native to your country. Please contact Janna at social@ellersliecommunityleague.com by September 10th to book your FREE table today!
