The Ellerslie Community League serves the area in southeast Edmonton between 34 Street and 91 Street, north of Ellerslie Road and south of Anthony Henday Drive. Residents in two neighbourhoods, Ellerslie and Charlesworth, are welcome to become members.
This vibrant community is largely populated by young families. Its schools, parks and playgrounds make it an appealing place for children to grow up. Adults in the area can also appreciate the community’s proximity to major retail centres like South Edmonton Common and Mill Woods Town Centre, and its easy access to Anthony Henday Drive. Charlesworth is set to offer even more amenities in the near future as it continues to grow; retail and transit centres are planned for the area.
In addition to all the modern conveniences, Ellerslie and Charlesworth offer an abundance of natural beauty as well. Storm ponds and wooded areas can be found throughout the community, and part of Ellerslie, Wernerville, is still home to large rural-style lots that existed before the rest of the area was developed. The walking trails that run through the natural areas allow residents to enjoy all the community has to offer.
Whatever you look for in a neighbourhood, Ellerslie and Charlesworth are great places to call home!
